Evening Rest

“Evening Rest” depicts a male black bear at peace on a rock, backlit by the setting sun with the Smoky Mountains fading behind. This intimate scene, inspired by the landscapes near my studio, is the first painting in my new multidisciplinary series, “The Bear Necessities 1.0.”
